milo, the dog, is quite smart.
he knows the name of every single one of his toys.
you ask for is, he gets it.

2 weeks ago, we went to the petstore down the road and he picked a little birdie rope toy.
he carried it for the following 8 blocks back home in his mouth, like the happiest dog in the world. when we got home. i grabbed it. looked at him and while i tossed the toy, said "go get PIO" ... and then PIO was born. he learned the name right away. its been his favorite since.
Just this second, I asked him to bring PIO. what did I get? this sad chewed up round shape that was once his head. its funny. i always wonder which part will keep the identity of the toy. the legs, the head, the stuffing...you never know
